Google Forms MCP Connector for AI Agents

Connect your AI agents to Google Forms over MCP: read forms and their responses, and create or change forms in your connected Google account.

Connect a Google account once in ApexGenius and enable the forms you want, then read their questions and responses, create new forms, and reach the rest of the Forms API from compatible AI agents. Each AI agent needs its own ApexGenius setup.

Why the gateway is here

It keeps the Google Forms authorization, tools, and activity behind the same managed route you use for your other supported systems.

Connection model

How to connect Google Forms.

The Google Forms connection belongs to your signed-in account. Any Google Forms-native resources stay inside that provider.

Read connection details

Before you start

  • An account with permission to use the Google Forms resources you intend to connect.

1. Connect Google Forms to ApexGenius

  1. Open Google Forms in Connections. Choose Connect, or Add connection when offered. Give the connection a name if prompted. If Gateway setup pending appears, contact ApexGenius support before continuing.
The actual Google Forms connection page in ApexGenius, showing the Connect control.
Open Google Forms in Connections and choose Connect to start setup.Open full-size image (opens in a new tab)
  2. Choose the account and review access. Sign in to the Google account that has access to the intended resources. Review the permissions Google requests, then return to ApexGenius.
  3. Review the connected account and resources. Find Allowed resources on the connection page or its Tools tab. Choose Refresh and enable only the forms you want to use. Resource selection does not add permissions to the Google account.
  4. Check the connection. Use Test connection or Check again and read the reported status. Add an AI agent from the AI agents page, choose Read only for the first test, and try the question below.

2. Choose your AI and finish setup

Each guide includes the AI setup and a first question for Google Forms.

Current governance

Know the account, tools, and result.

ApexGenius keeps the selected context and current tool surface visible, then records supported write activity for review.

Authorized context

Only the forms you enable can be reached, within the Google account’s own access.

Current tool surface

Responses can hold people’s names, emails and answers. Read them only when the task needs them.

Reviewable activity

Enabled writes run immediately. Turn a tool off to block calls.

Disconnecting stops future access. It does not undo a change already made to a form.

Why a gateway

5 operations. Three tool definitions.

Your AI starts with three ApexGenius gateway tools. It discovers the Google Forms operations available to its authorization when a task needs them, then runs the selected operation through the gateway.

One saved provider connection

Connect Google Forms to ApexGenius, then authorize each AI client to use the saved connection with its own tool permissions.

Scoped per agent

Give one client read-only and the write operations never appear in its tool list at all.

Every call on the record

Which agent asked, what ran, and whether it succeeded, kept per connection for review.

FAQ

Questions people ask before connecting Google Forms.

How do I connect Google Forms?
Open Google Forms in ApexGenius Connections, choose Connect, sign in with the Google account that owns your forms, and enable the forms you want.
Which forms can my AI reach?
Only the forms you enable in ApexGenius. A new form your AI creates is added to that list.
Can my AI read responses?
Yes, for the forms you enable. Responses can hold personal details, so turn that tool off if your AI does not need them.
Can my AI change a form?
It can create forms, and the full API tool can change questions and settings. That tool is marked destructive. Enabled writes run immediately. Turn a tool off to block calls.
Can I start with read-only access?
Yes. Choose Read only when you add your AI agent, and the create and change tools never reach its tool list.
