What is a Claude skill for SEO?

A skill is a folder with a SKILL.md file that tells an agent how to do one job. These six do the search work a person repeats every week, on your own Search Console data: they read the numbers, check what Google can see, and hand back a short list of changes with the before and after. Are these SEO skills free?

The skill files are free to download and use. Running them on your live Search Console data goes through ApexGenius, which starts with 1,000 free credits and no card.

Which agents can use them?

Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and other agents that read the Agent Skills format. Each agent needs its own ApexGenius setup to reach your Search Console data.

Will they change my site or my Search Console settings?

No. They read Search Console and propose changes for you to approve. The indexing skill can resubmit a sitemap only when you turn that write on, and none of them edits your pages.

Do they work with Bing?

The indexing skill also submits release pages to Bing when Bing Webmaster is connected, within the daily quota and after you approve.
