Can AI build Salesforce reports and dashboards?
Yes, with an important distinction. ApexGenius MCP does not expose a dedicated report-builder tool, but it can prepare supported Salesforce report and dashboard definitions as native metadata in staging, then validate, deploy, and check the result. The separate authenticated Report Builder uses Salesforce analytics APIs for its own guided workflow.

On the MCP route, the AI prepares the native report or dashboard metadata as staged files. You can read the staged definition, run the relevant validation or deployment with the chosen Salesforce test level, and check deployment status. There is no dedicated “create report” MCP operation.
The separate authenticated Report Builder can inspect existing report and dashboard metadata and uses Salesforce analytics APIs for its guided report workflow. That product surface is separate from ordinary MCP calls.
