What it does

  1. Inspect the workbookConfirms tab names, sheet IDs, locale, and ranges.
  2. Read the two rangesReads the headers and only the ranges you named.
  3. Set the comparison rulesConfirms the join key and how to treat case, spaces, dates, and duplicates.
  4. Reconcile and check totalsClassifies missing, changed, duplicate, and matching rows, then checks the totals.
  5. Report before editingReturns a summary and the discrepancy rows with their source references.

What it reads

  • get_spreadsheetReads the workbook's tabs and settings.
  • get_valuesReads cell values in a range.
