Connect Claude
Add ApexGenius as a custom connector in Claude, authorize your account, and verify a safe Salesforce read.
Claude connects to ApexGenius through one hosted MCP endpoint:
https://server.autom8.pro/mcp
You do not need to add a static API key or run a local server. Claude opens ApexGenius in your browser to authorize the connection.
Individual setup
Open Claude connectors
In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors.
Add the custom connector
Select +, then Add custom connector. Name it ApexGenius and paste https://server.autom8.pro/mcp as the remote MCP server URL.
Keep the OAuth fields empty
Do not enter an OAuth client ID or client secret in Advanced settings. Add the connector so Claude can use the authorization information published by ApexGenius.
Connect your ApexGenius account
Select Connect. In the browser window, sign in to ApexGenius and approve Claude. Return to Claude after authorization completes.
Enable ApexGenius in the conversation
Open a conversation, select +, then Connectors, and turn on ApexGenius for that conversation.
Team and Enterprise setup
An Owner or Primary Owner first adds the connector from Organization settings, then Connectors. Select Add, hover over Custom, choose Web, and enter the same ApexGenius endpoint. Leave the optional OAuth client fields empty.
Each member then goes to Customize, then Connectors, finds ApexGenius, and selects Connect to authorize their own account. Do not share one person's authorization with the team.
Verify the connection
Start with a request that reads Salesforce metadata without changing it:

Confirm the response refers to the intended Salesforce project and production org or sandbox. If Claude cannot see ApexGenius, reopen the connector list and confirm it is enabled for the current conversation.
Before approving a write, read the proposed target and effect in Claude's confirmation screen. Stop if the project, provider, record, or component is not the one you intended.
