Connect Google Ads
Authorize a Google account and enable the specific Google Ads customer accounts that the private-preview gateway can reach.
Google Ads is an ApexGenius private-preview connection. It uses Google OAuth and a server-owned Google Ads developer token.
What you need
- A Google account with access to the intended Google Ads customer or manager account
- The customer IDs you intend to enable
- ApexGenius private-preview access
You do not paste a Google client secret or Google Ads developer token. ApexGenius configures those application credentials once for the shared gateway.
Connect Google Ads
- In ApexGenius, open Connections.
- Select Google Ads.
- Choose Connect Google Ads.
- Review the Google consent screen and authorize the account.
- Return to the connection details.
- Refresh provider resources.
- Enable only the Google Ads customer accounts the MCP gateway should expose.
Manager-account setups can also require the applicable login customer ID. Customer IDs are shown without relying on an ApexGenius or Salesforce project.
The ApexGenius Google OAuth application, restricted-scope verification, and Google Ads developer-token access must be ready before customer authorization can work. Google Ads permissions, API limits, and policy requirements still apply.
