Business-system connection guides

See what each ApexGenius connection requires, where it is scoped, and which vendor documentation remains authoritative.

ApexGenius separates AI clients from business-system connections.

  • AI clients such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and VS Code connect to the ApexGenius MCP endpoint.
  • Business systems such as Salesforce, n8n, Jira, Confluence, and HQ Rental connect inside the ApexGenius gateway.

Connection scope

Salesforce is the only provider whose intended gateway model uses an ApexGenius project. A Salesforce project identifies one authorized Salesforce org and its metadata workspace.

n8n, Confluence, and the private-preview providers use connections owned by the signed-in ApexGenius user. Jira is also user-owned while its Beta route is completed. Jira projects, Confluence spaces, n8n workflows, and HQ Rental tenants remain resources inside their own providers. They are not ApexGenius projects.

Each ApexGenius guide links to the matching vendor documentation. Vendor documentation is authoritative for provider permissions, API behavior, plan requirements, and rate limits. ApexGenius documentation is authoritative for the gateway-specific setup and current product boundary.

Availability differs by provider

Salesforce, n8n, and Confluence are available. Jira remains Beta. HQ Rental, Google Ads, Search Console, Upwork, and Apollo are private previews. Read the status note in the provider guide before relying on a connection in production work.
