Connect Blotato
Authorize Blotato's hosted MCP for governed publishing, engagement, analytics, automation, media, and scheduling.
Blotato is an ApexGenius private-preview connection. ApexGenius is implementing its hosted MCP with the OAuth 2.1 metadata currently advertised by the live endpoint.
What you need
- A paid Blotato subscription with API access
- The social accounts you intend to operate already connected in Blotato
- Permission to publish, message, automate, or spend credits on those accounts
- ApexGenius private-preview access
Connect Blotato
- In ApexGenius, open Connections.
- Select Blotato.
- Choose Connect Blotato.
- Review the requested access and complete OAuth.
- Return to ApexGenius and enable the connected Blotato account resource.
- Start with
blotato_search_tools, then review eachblotato_call_toolrequest.
Blotato's catalog includes public publishing, scheduling, comments, direct messages, analytics, automations, external webhooks, deletion, media generation and upload, calendar operations, and credit actions. ApexGenius places every generic Blotato call behind approval. The first release scopes the whole connected Blotato account; per-social-account enforcement is a recorded follow-up gate.
Blotato's setup guide documents the blotato-api-key header, while the live MCP endpoint advertises OAuth 2.1. ApexGenius will not activate the provider until Blotato confirms the production contract and a real account completes OAuth, resource discovery, and a harmless read. Do not generate an API key just for testing because Blotato says that action ends the free trial and starts a paid subscription.
